What people actually paid, written up.

Every job below was paid for, priced flat before I started, and written up with the customer’s permission. Never a name, never a city.

“Fares did some major repairs on my GTI, including brakes, rear main seal and transmission fluid change. He is professional, capable and courteous. Despite the terrible weather he persevered, and got the job done. Very happy with his work.”Google review, five stars, August 2026
“Fares came by and did the brakes on my 2021 Lexus RX350. I got quoted way more at a shop so I decided to try a mobile mechanic instead. He showed up on time, did the work in my driveway, and everything went smoothly.”Google review, five stars, 2021 Lexus RX350
“Wonderful and quick experience, charged me way less than the dealer and he did the work in my driveway in the cold. I really appreciate all the hard work.”Google review, five stars

What I fix

The everyday repairs, done at your door.

This is my lane: the work that keeps a car healthy, handled in your driveway with a flat quote up front. The ranges are my published typical ranges; your exact number comes before any work.

Brakes

Grinding, squealing, a soft or pulsing pedal, shaking when you stop. Pads, rotors and calipers replaced at your door. The call I get most, and the one I never let wait.

$200 to $700 per axle

Suspension and front end

Clunking over bumps, a bouncy ride, wandering steering. Struts, control arms, sway-bar links, wheel bearings, tie rods. Pothole country wrecks front ends; I rebuild them in driveways.

$350 to $1,500 per job

Battery, alternator and no-start

Won't start, clicking, dim lights, dead in the driveway. I test the battery, alternator and starter where the car sits and fix the real one. No tow.

$180 to $1,100 installed and tested

Tune-up and maintenance

Rough idle, hesitation, a check-engine light. Plugs, coils, filters, fluids and oil service, done right in the driveway.

$250 to $700

Water pump and cooling

Overheating, losing coolant, a sweet smell under the hood. Water pump, thermostat, radiator, hoses: small parts that cook engines when ignored.

$250 to $900 coolant included

Belts and CV axles

Squealing on startup, clicking when you turn. Serpentine belts and CV axles swapped in an afternoon, at your place.

$150 to $750

Oil leaks and oil service

Spots on the driveway or a burning smell. Most leaks are a valve-cover gasket or a filter housing. I find the actual source instead of throwing parts at it.

$250 to $900

Pre-purchase inspection

Buying used? I meet you at the seller, go through the published 150 points, and tell you exactly what you're about to inherit before you hand over a dollar.

$120 to $250 flat

Also: European specialist for BMW, Audi, Mercedes and VW, and mods and upgrades if you bought the part and need it bolted on right. Something else? Browse every repair I do or ask my AI mechanic, free.

Why people call me

You don't fear the repair. You fear the shop.

The markup, the upsell, the bill you didn't agree to. Here's how I take all of that off the table before I turn a single bolt.

01

Flat quote before I touch it

One number for the whole job, parts and labour. No hourly meter, no "while we were in there." The number I quote is the number you pay.

02

You keep the old parts

Worn pads, the seized caliper, the leaking gasket: handed to you when the job's done. You see exactly what you paid for, every time.

03

One real person: me

Not a faceless app sending whoever's free. It's Fares, every job, start to finish. Same name on the quote, the wrench, and the follow-up.

04

Straight answers, even "wait"

A weeping gasket you can watch a few weeks? I'll say so. Brakes grinding metal? That one gets the first window I've got. I don't scare people into jobs.

How it works

Three steps. No surprises.

1

Tell me what it's doing

The form, a text, or a call. The noise, the light, the leak, the no-start. You get a price range on the spot and real time slots you pick yourself.

2

I come to you and quote it

Your driveway, your work lot, wherever the car sits. I confirm the cause on the spot and give you one flat price before I turn a single bolt.

3

Fixed, explained, parts in hand

I do the repair right there, walk you through it in plain English, and hand you the old parts. You pay the quoted price, not a dollar more.

Where I work

Five cities. All of them a normal working day.

Mississauga is home base, and the other four are the working week, not a stretch. No travel add-on inside the five.

Who's showing up: me, Fares, based in Erin Mills, Mississauga. Every job start to finish, no dispatcher, no rotating subcontractor. The warranty, the arrival protocol and the list of jobs I turn down are all in writing on the trust page. More about me.

Questions

Your questions, answered straight.

How does a mobile mechanic actually work?
You call or text me, tell me what the car's doing, and I come to your driveway, your work parking lot, wherever the car sits. I diagnose it on the spot, give you a flat quote before I touch anything, do the repair right there, and show you the old parts when I'm done. No tow, no waiting room, no surprise on the bill.
What repairs do you do in a driveway?
The everyday repairs that keep a car healthy: brakes (pads, rotors, calipers), suspension (struts, control arms, sway-bar links, wheel bearings, tie rods), batteries, alternators and starters, tune-ups (plugs, coils, filters, fluids), water pumps and cooling, serpentine belts, CV axles, and oil leaks like valve-cover gaskets. If a job genuinely needs a shop lift or a press, I'll tell you straight instead of overclaiming.
How much will it cost?
You get a flat quote before I start, every time. No hourly meter, no mystery markup. The number depends on the car and what it actually needs, but it lands fair and below what a shop or dealer charges for the same job. The savings are real; they're just not the reason to call. You call me because it gets done right, at your door.
Do you work on BMW, Audi, and Mercedes?
Yes. European cars are a focus: BMW oil filter housing and valve cover leaks, Audi 2.0T oil consumption, Mercedes cooling, brakes, batteries, and the diagnostics that come with them. Dealer-level care without the dealer runaround. See the European specialist page.
My car won't start. Do I need a tow?
Usually not. Dead battery, bad starter, bad alternator, a no-crank no-start: that's exactly what I come to you for. I test all three where the car sits and fix the real one, and most of the time it's running again without a tow. Call or text 647-450-0406.
What areas do you cover?
Five cities: Mississauga, Oakville, Milton, Brampton and Etobicoke. Mississauga is home base, but Brampton and Etobicoke are regular working days too; none of the five is a stretch. Outside them? Check your postal code or text it to me and I'll tell you straight.
How soon can I get a time booked?
Right now. Send the form and you get a price range on the spot, plus real time slots you can book yourself. Pick the window that works and it's on the calendar. Parts for bigger jobs usually push it out a day or two. Urgent no-starts and unsafe brakes get priority.
Do you charge HST?
Not at my volume yet. It's a flat price, no tax breakdown. The number I quote you is the number you pay.
