How accurate is the range?
It is the typical range for that kind of job across the west GTA, from the same published rate card you can read on the pricing page. Your exact flat quote depends on the car and what it actually needs, and you get that number before I touch anything.
Do I need a diagnostic visit first?
Only when the symptom could be several things. A no-start, a clunk or a warning light gets a diagnostic visit with a flat price, and if I do the repair the same day the diagnostic is part of that number, not on top of it.
Where do you come to?

Do you charge HST?
