The classic "no visible leak but it eats oil", usually a failed PCV (crankcase breather) pulling oil into the intake, or on higher-mileage cars, worn rings. I diagnose which before quoting, because the fixes are worlds apart.
Valve cover gasket, the cam-chain tensioner cover, and the rear main are the common EA888 leak points. Oil onto the hot engine is the burning smell. I find the actual source and seal it, at your home.
